Adrienne Moore A.F.C.A N.W.W.S .B. ED in Art Ed Adrienne was educated in Northern Ireland where she attended Stranmillis College ,Belfast to complete a diploma in Art Ed . She subsequently attended U.BC to complete a B. ED in art education She taught general subjects for many years in Richmond Schools before retiring to paint full time . Adrienne’s work is expressionistic in style and the natural environment where she lives at Garry Point plays an important role in providing subject matter for her paintings . She works in abstract expressionism style and also realism using strong colour to reflect the changes of light patterns on landscape. Adrienne enjoys the challenges provided by experimenting with new materials in collages, mixed media ,.encaustic and acrylics. Adrienne is a signature member of the Federation of Canadian artists and North West Watercolour Society She has received numerous awards for her work which has been accepted in many international exhibitions including three times in the
‘’ Painting on the Edge’’ exhibition held annually in Vancouver.. She recently received the City of Richmond Arts Education award. Her work is in private collections in U.K. Australia , U.S. Japan and China.
